~ ABOUT US ~

Both with traveling souls and eager for new adventures we embarked on the trip of our dreams. Going to India was always a mandatory destination to visit and it will be fate or coincidence but both of us were able to make it happen the same year, month and place.

The connection between us arose immediately, and so began a friendship that day by day became stronger united by the passion that each of us felt for yoga and the desire to expand to everything that would allow us to connect it.

Thus was born Chandra Community, a duo of yogis who love to live life to the fullest, to progress day by day.

We want to bring you the teachings of yoga, Ayurveda and spirituality and that is why our retreats and group experiences are designed to let you pamper yourself and benefit from the endless number of tools, therapies and ancient practices with which to regain the natural balance of your mind, body and spirit.

VALENTINA LLORENS

Eight years ago I discovered yoga and from that moment on I knew that at some point in my life I would want to dedicate myself to deepen in this precious spiritual path.

After years of practicing different styles and teachers I found my guru in Formentera. There I deepened in the Ashtanga style while nourishing myself with readings to better understand the philosophy behind this science of life. It was during a transformative trip to India when I decided it was time to create a community to share all these experiences and knowledge.

Pòinting out a starting point on the path of yoga is almost impossible when you understand the dimensions that this philosophy of life encompasses. Asanas became part of my habits five years ago, but I already had more than ten years of self-taught learning through the ways of jnana yoga.

My understanding of yoga encompasses a holistic approach in which reflection and knowledge merge with bodily expression as a means of self-knowledge.
